Series Description
Practical ESL instruction that combines realistic life experiences with the language skills and cultural understanding that adults need to fully participate in at home, at school, and in the community.
This series is available in 4 levels:
Literacy Level
Level 1: Low Beginning
Level 2: High Beginning
Level 3: Low Intermediate
Features:
Develops active listening and speaking skills through realistic conversations that center on familiar situations
Reading, writing skills are integrated into each lesson
Helps build life and work skills, such as communicating with health providers, getting and keeping a job, and discovering neighborhood services and resources
Structured grammar lessons are a part of each unit, with two additional units focused completely on grammar
Note: Listening exercises in the Student Book require the use of audiocassette, CD, or transcripts available in the Teacher's Edition.
