High-Beginning
Two-level series of grammar skills provides thorough instruction and extensive practice to help ESL students master basic grammar structures.
Each unit focuses on one grammar point at a time
Uses model sentences, followed by controlled and free-response exercises
Each unit presents a grammar structure as a model, rather than a rule, and gives written practice and conversation opportunities
Lessons offer a wide variety of practice, including multiple-choice, error correction, fill-in, sentence completion, and more-all in a real-life context
Lessons are non-sequential, with content recycled throughout each text for added reinforcement
Teacher's Guide is available
Grammar Wise 2 starts with prepositions, count and non-count nouns, comparative and superlative adjectives, simple modals, and adverbs. Later units cover verb forms and tenses, article use, and clause connectors.
