Synopsis
"We must leave Zenda at once, to find the King!" cried Sapt. "If we're caught, we'll all be killed!" So Rudolf Rassendyll and Sapt gallop through the night to find the King of Ruritania. But the King is now prisoner in the Castle of Zenda. Who will rescue him from his enemies, the dangerous Duke Michael and Rupert of Hentzau? And who will win the heart of the beautiful Princess Flavia?
About the Author
Anthony Hope is the pen-name for Sir Anthony Hope Hawkins. He was born in London in 1863, and studied at Marlborough School, and then Balliol College, Oxford. In 1887 Hope began work as a lawyer. He wrote stories in his free time, and in 1890 he published his first novel.
