'Math in Everyday Life' is a collection of consumer math activities and exercises that are relevant to students in dealing with various practical situations in their everyday lives. The problems in the book follow the everyday life of a fictitious family.

In many instances, students are encouraged to carry out tasks in real life, such as visit the local store, research the newspaper or internet, in order to complete exercises.
