Series Synopsis
WHILE SUPPLIES LAST
The Spelling Toolbox workbook series presents a strategy-based approach to spelling. Each workbook provides an introductory lesson that describes spelling "tools" or strategies, and 20 thematically organized units on the topics of home, community, work, health, and writing. In each unit, the student learns how to spell 15 words by using phonics, syllabication, word families and common spelling rules.
Application activities include writing a notice to a landlord, a shopping list, a memo, a to-do list etc. Students are encouraged to write words that they frequently use in their personal dictionary.
Teacher's notes are located at the back of the workbook.
