Four-level basic reading and writing program, specifically designed for adults with little or no literacy skills. Laubach Way to Reading's structured, phonics-based, multisensory approach builds students' confidence as they develop their new reading and writing skills.

Skill Books develop reading and writing through scaffolded lessons
Teacher's Manuals provides note and presentation materials for each lesson.
Correlated Readers offer additional stories to reinforce lesson content.
Checkups measure student progress at the completion of each level.
Puzzles and Crossword Puzzles reinforce vocabulary and word structures from each of the skill books.
LWR Level 4: Other Vowel Sounds and Consonant Spellings
Reading Level: 3 - 5
Skills introduced include:
Special vowel sounds such as oo, ou, aw and different sounds represented by the same consonant symbols.
Word analysis skills include contractions, prefixes, suffixes and compound words.
New comprehension skills introduced, such as: making inferences, recognizing cause/effect, and drawing conclusions.
